BUILDING PERMIT

When applying for a building permit in Box Elder County, it is essential to thoroughly examine the detailed guidelines and instructions provided for the permit process. 

To begin the application process, please click on the link provided to fill out the building permit form. After completing the form, please submit it along with your house plans to Box Elder County for additional processing.

BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION

All business licenses must be renewed by the end of January. Renewals do not necessitate attendance at a town council meeting unless there have been changes to your business information. You can access the application form below or pick it up at Town Hall. A late fee of $15 will be charged after February 15th. If you have ceased operations in Mantua, please inform us.

The State of Utah has provided updated information stating that Business Licenses are now mandatory by State Law. To comply, please complete the application above and submit it to Town Hall along with:

- $25.00 processing fee for Home Businesses

- $50.00 processing fee for Commercial Businesses

Business licenses, including home occupations, can also be obtained at the City Offices. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Who needs to register their business?

All businesses in Utah must register with the Utah Department of Commerce as a "DBA" (Doing Business As), Corporation, Limited Liability Company, or Limited Partnership. Additionally, businesses must obtain a business license from the City or County where they are located.

Before receiving any services, new residents are required to complete a Utility Agreement. You can print out the form and mail it to 409 No Main, Mantua, Utah, 84324, or drop it in the brown drop box located in front of Town Hall. 

If you are moving out, please fill out the Discontinuance of Service form provided below and submit it to Town Hall.
